There’s something truly magical about capturing the journey of motherhood, and what better way to celebrate it than with a fun maternity and newborn photoshoot? Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting this beautiful experience, featuring stunning gowns for the maternity session and a whimsical Harry Potter theme for the newborn shoot.
For the maternity session, she chose some of my favorite gowns. It had been too long since I last used the silver sequin gown—it fits everyone just right! Each gown was carefully selected for both style and comfort, ensuring the mother-to-be felt confident and radiant. I always recommend choosing multiple gowns for a session to achieve completely different looks. Most of my clients opt for one of my big, fluffy gowns, followed by a more form-fitting gown, and then a bright, bold-colored gown.
For the newborn photoshoot, we created a fun Harry Potter setup that turned out absolutely magical, along with some adorable little bear-themed setups. We started by wrapping the baby in cozy, snuggly wraps and giving him a good feed to ensure he slept soundly through his first photoshoot.
This maternity and newborn session was not only a celebration of new life but also a creative expression of the family's interests. I’m thrilled to have captured these precious moments—memories they will cherish for years to come.

I am a mom of the cutest little 11 month old ever named Jasper and three crazy puppies. When I am not photographing families, I am going on walks, redecorating my house, or spending way too much time on Pinterest. I love to travel around the world and I am always planning my next trip. I have been to places like Punta Cana, Finland, Paris, and Dublin.
Everyone I know says I was born in the wrong era. I love anything vintage, especially Vintage Cameras! Family is incredibly important to me and I cherish every moment I spend with my parents and sister! I love capturing special moments and making them last forever.
