It’s finally time for the cake smash I’ve been planning for a year—and the one my husband has been patiently waiting for! He’s a huge fan of the anime One Piece, and since I spent the last part of my pregnancy watching all 1,000 episodes with him, this cake smash theme was a no-brainer for our little man.

Ruffles and Lace Artisan Cakes absolutely crushed it with the Devil Fruit cake, and can we talk about the abs on Jasper’s Luffy costume?! Clearly, he’s been sneaking in some ab workouts without Mommy knowing!
Cake smash sessions are such a special way to celebrate a baby’s first birthday. It’s more than just a messy, fun experience—it’s a way to capture their curiosity, joy, and personality at this fleeting stage. Watching Jasper dive into his cake, make a mess, and giggle through it all was the perfect way to mark this milestone. These are the moments I’ll cherish forever!

Hi there, I am a Maternity, Newborn, and Cake Smash Photographer but I am better known as Airdrie's Baby Whisperer. I have a special talent for getting your adorable little babies to sleep so we can get the cutest photos of them in all of my little props.
I am a mom of the cutest little 1-year-old ever named Jasper and three crazy puppies. When I am not photographing families, I am going on walks, redecorating my house, or spending way too much time on Pinterest. I love to travel around the world and I am always planning my next trip. I have been to places like Punta Cana, Finland, Paris, and Dublin.
Everyone I know says I was born in the wrong era. I love anything vintage, especially Vintage Cameras! Family is incredibly important to me and I cherish every moment I spend with my parents and sister! I love capturing special moments and making them last forever. This website is my way of showing what I am capable of and how much photography means to me. I post new photoshoots as soon as I can in hopes of keeping my website new and exciting!
