There’s something so special about celebrating a baby’s first birthday with a cake smash, and Benjamin’s session was no exception! His nursery is decorated with a charming travel theme—hot air balloons, airplanes, and all things adventure—so we designed his cake smash to match. I love when parents bring a theme that’s meaningful to their little one!
From the moment Benjamin arrived at my studio, he was on the move! Crawling everywhere, exploring every corner—everywhere except in front of the backdrop. But no worries—I always have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep babies engaged, and we still captured some absolutely adorable moments.
Now, the cake? That was a different story. Benjamin wasn’t exactly a fan of the taste, but the balloons? Oh, he loved the balloons! He had the best time playing with them, chasing them around, and giving me the biggest smiles in the process. Sometimes, the best cake smash photos aren’t even about the cake—they’re about capturing a little one’s personality, energy, and all those sweet moments that make them unique.

Hi there, I am a Maternity, Newborn, and Cake Smash Photographer but I am better known as Airdrie's Baby Whisperer. I have a special talent for getting your adorable little babies to sleep so we can get the cutest photos of them in all of my little props.
I am a mom of the cutest little 1year old ever named Jasper and three crazy puppies. When I am not photographing families, I am going on walks, redecorating my house, or spending way too much time on Pinterest. I love to travel around the world and I am always planning my next trip. I have been to places like Punta Cana, Finland, Paris, and Dublin.
Everyone I know says I was born in the wrong era. I love anything vintage, especially Vintage Cameras! Family is incredibly important to me and I cherish every moment I spend with my parents and sister! I love capturing special moments and making them last forever. This website is my way of showing what I am capable of and how much photography means to me. I post new photoshoots as soon as I can in hopes of keeping my website new and exciting!
